Literally every nut and bolt was either restored or replaced with NOS or original ford parts. The engine is the correct date coded 428 "PI" and was rebuilt with upgraded valve seals and roller rockers. The heads were ported and polished and a mild street cam was added. The engine runs very strong but is fully stock appearing on the outside with the exception of a lightweight aluminum "Shelby American" high efficiency water pump. The C-6 transmission is the heavy-duty "R" servo taken from a 1968 cobra jet engine. Again it has been fully rebuilt to handle the extra power if this engine. The body and paint are flawless! It has fewer than 500 miles since the restoration. The undercarriage is detailed in the correct Ditzler red oxide primer with overspray. The interior has been fully restored. It features the correct, flawless, brushed aluminum panels. All the gauges and lights work properly. It has the correct Stewart-Warner oil pressure and amp gauges in the under dash pod. This car is an investment grade vehicle, that runs and drives like new.
