1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 428 Super Cobra Jet with Drag Pack

Documented with Marti Report as being the more sought after Super Cobra Jet Mach 1. This is a Two Owner Car, bought from Original Owner in 1982. It was restored in 1991 using Ford Store bought parts. Motor was rebuilt in 1988 has only 4,000 miles put on it since. Motor was inspected then to verify it has the Heavy duty SCJ bottom end, it ended up getting new Rings and a higher lift Cam along with a Demon Carb. and Headers. (the original Holley Carb. goes with this car) The Transmission was also rebuilt more recently and had a shift kit put in it. The Miles are original. This is a Factory Ordered Super Cobra Jet 428 with the Drag Package and the Shaker Air Cleaner, it has the 3.91 Rear End. Power Steering and Disc Brakes. The Gas Tank, Exhaust and Fuel Pump are New. It has been maintained and driven very little over the years. Car had put on it: New front fenders, New rear Quarter & inner panels, Floor sheet metal, trunk floor, gas tank which were bought at a Ford Dealership when restored 20 years ago. This car is a good Driver Quality Condition. It starts right up and Runs Very Strong. You can drive it the way it is and have fun, or do a freshen up restoration and have yourself a Rare Mach 1. The car is the original Color Combination. Owner has some extra parts he picked up over the years that will go with the car. The last few years it was taken out for Cruise nights now and then.   Engine Photos

Original Motor that was re-built 4000 miles ago. It now has Headers and a Demon Carb. It does have a few oil leaks from sitting in storage that might go away with driving, looks like from the intake and valve cover Gaskets, Valve cover gaskets were recently tightened up which might be a big help.
